Description
The ABB REC670 is an integrated bay controller (IBC) that is designed for the control, protection, and monitoring of circuit breakers, disconnectors, and grounding switches in different switchgear configurations. It is a member of the ABB Relion® 670 series of IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices).
The REC670 is optimized for transmission applications and provides customized control solutions for any type of switchgear and different switchgear configurations. It is also used for the control, protection and monitoring of different types of bays in power networks.
The REC670 has been provided with six of overcurrent, ground fault, autorecloser and measuring functions. It also includes a number of other features, such as:
