The B&R 8AC120.60-1 is an encoder interface module designed for use with B&R Industrial Automation’s ACOPOS servo drives.
- EnDat 2.1 encoder interface: This allows the module to communicate with EnDat 2.1 encoders, a high-performance absolute encoder protocol. EnDat encoders provide position, speed, and diagnostic data to the servo drive.
- Incremental encoder support: The module can also be used with basic incremental encoders that use a sinusoidal signal to indicate position. These encoders only provide position information, not speed or diagnostics.
