The Emerson 5X00499G01 is a contact events input module for the Emerson Ovation system.
The Ovation system is a distributed control system (DCS) that is used in a variety of industries, including power generation, oil and gas production, and manufacturing. The contact events input module is used to interface with external devices that provide contact closure signals.

- Supports both normally open and normally closed contacts
- Field-configurable for voltage or current sinking/sourcing
