The Emerson A6140 is a Shaft Absolute Vibration Monitor designed for use with the AMS 6500 Machinery Health Monitor system. It is a two-channel, 1-slot module that is API 670 compliant and hot-swappable.
- Monitors shaft absolute vibration relative to free space
- Ideal for critical rotating machinery such as steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, and hydro turbines
- Works with displacement sensors and seismic or piezoelectric sensors
- Provides buffered and proportional outputs (0/4-20 mA or 0-10V)
- Includes self-checking facilities for hardware, power, temperature, sensors, and cables
