Description
General Electric DS200FCGDH1B LCI Control and Gating Board
The DS200FCGDH1B is a gate distribution and status card (FCGD) designed by General Electric for their Mark V series drives.
It acts as an interface for the system’s six pulse, phase controlled non-reversing bridge.
Breakdown of the GE DS200FCGDH1B:
1. Receives data: It gets information from the drive’s digital signal processing card (DSPC).
2. Processes data: It translates the received signals into cell gating signals.
3. Sends signals: These gating signals are then distributed to all the system’s bridge legs.
4. Receives feedback: It gets feedback information including voltage, frequency and board status from three FGPA boards. This feedback can be multiplexed (combined into a single signal)
5. Processes feedback: It scales the received feedback signals.
6. Provides status: An LED indicator provides basic information on the system’s condition.
