The HIMA F8628X is a communication module that enables HIMA H41q/H51q controllers to communicate with other devices on a PROFIBUS-DP network.
- PROFIBUS-DP Slave Interface: The F8628X allows a HIMA controller to act as a slave device on a PROFIBUS-DP network. This enables the controller to communicate with other devices on the network, such as sensors, actuators, and drives.
- Ethernet Programming: Starting with operating system version 4.x, the F8628X supports ELOP II TCP. This allows for fast data exchange between a PC and the HIMA controller via Ethernet.
- ELOP II Configuration: The F8628X also enables programming of the HIMax CPUs via Ethernet using the ELOP II engineering tool.
