• Ethernet Connectivity: It provides 10Base-T or 100Base-TX Ethernet connectivity according to the IEEE 802.3 standard. This allows for connection to other devices on a local area network.
• PROFIBUS-DP Slave: The primary function of the F8628X is to enable the H41q/H51q controller to operate as a PROFIBUS-DP slave device. PROFIBUS-DP is a widely used industrial communication protocol for fieldbus systems.
• ELOP II TCP Support: For operating systems version 4.x and later, the F8628X supports ELOP II TCP. This enables fast data exchange between a Programming and Diagnostic Tool (PADT) and the F865x central module over Ethernet. ELOP II is HIMA’s engineering toolset for safety controllers.
• Additional Features: It also includes a High-Speed Redundancy (HSR) interface for connection to a redundant HSR communication module and diagnostic LEDs for status monitoring.
