Description
The Honeywell 51304362-300 is a serial interface I/O processor (IOP) with two channels. It is a discontinued product that was manufactured by Honeywell.
The IOP is used to communicate between a Honeywell distributed control system (DCS) and other devices, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), operator interface terminals (OITs), and remote terminal units (RTUs). It supports RS-232C and RS-422 communication protocols.
The IOP has two RS-232C ports and one RS-422 port. It also has a DB-9 connector for connecting to a DCS.
The IOP is powered by an external 24 VDC power supply. It consumes 12 watts of power.
