MTL MTL5544D Repeater Power Supply
The MTL5544D is a repeater power supply that is used to power and isolate intrinsically safe (IS) field devices in hazardous areas. It is a single-channel, 4/20 mA loop-powered device that can be used with HART® transmitters.
The MTL5544D provides a fully-floating dc supply for energising a conventional 2-wire IS loop. For HART 2-wire transmitters, the unit allows bi-directional transmission of data and power over the same 2-wire loop.
