The Prosoft 5201-MNET-103M Modbus Master Gateway is a communication module designed to bridge the gap between Modbus TCP/IP networks and IEC 60870-5-103 slave devices.
Function:
- Acts as a Modbus TCP/IP Master. It initiates communication with Modbus slave devices over an Ethernet (TCP/IP) network.
- Converts Modbus TCP/IP protocol to IEC 60870-5-103 protocol for communication with slave devices that use this protocol. IEC 60870-5-103 is a communication protocol commonly used in substation automation systems for electric power utilities.
