The Prosoft MVI56-MNETR is a network interface module that enables communication between Rockwell Automation ControlLogix processors and Modbus TCP/IP devices.

• Protocol bridge: It bridges the gap between ControlLogix processors, which typically use EtherNet/IP protocol, and Modbus TCP/IP devices. This allows them to seamlessly exchange data.
• Modbus TCP/IP client/server: The MVI56-MNETR can function as both a Modbus TCP/IP client and server. In client mode, it initiates communication and requests data from Modbus TCP/IP devices. In server mode, it responds to data requests from other Modbus TCP/IP clients on the network.
• Reduced data block for ControlLogix: This module is specifically designed for ControlLogix processors and has a reduced data block configuration, optimizing its performance for this platform.
