Description
The Prosoft MVI56E-MNETC is a Modbus TCP/IP Multi Client/Server Enhanced Network Interface Module designed for use with Rockwell Automation® ControlLogix® Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs).
- Function: Enables ControlLogix PACs to communicate with other devices using the Modbus TCP/IP protocol. This allows data exchange between the PAC and various instruments and controllers.
- Client/Server Functionality: It can function as both a Modbus TCP/IP client and server simultaneously. In client mode, it retrieves data from other devices. In server mode, it provides data to other devices. This flexibility allows it to act as a data concentrator.
- Multiple Connections: Supports up to 20 server connections, enabling communication with a large number of devices like DCS (Distributed Control System) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
