The PLX82-EIP-PNC CONTROLLER GATEWAY is a DIN-rail mounted unit that has two Ethernet ports. One port is used for the EtherNet/IP connection, and the other port is used for the PROFINET connection. The gateway can also be configured remotely. This means that you can configure the gateway from a computer that is not located on the same network as the gateway.
