YOKOGAWA SAI143-S33 Analog input module Large inventory

The Yokogawa SAI143-S33 is a discontinued analog input module for the ProSafe-RS safety control system. It was used to convert current or voltage signals from field devices into digital signals that could be processed by the control system.

The SAI143-S33 had four input channels and could accept a variety of signal types, including:

• 4 to 20 mA current
• -10 to +10 VDC voltage
• thermocouple
• RTD

The module also had a number of features that made it suitable for use in safety-critical applications, such as:

• Dual redundancy: The module could be configured in a dual-redundant configuration, which meant that if one module failed, the other module could take over and continue to provide data to the control system.
• Hot swappable: The module could be hot-swapped, which means that it could be replaced without shutting down the control system.
• SIL 3 certification: The module was certified to SIL 3, which is the highest level of safety integrity level defined by the IEC 61508 standard.
